		Naked raku is my newest passion. Every vase is hand thrown, burnished and bisque fired to a low temperature. Each piece is then covered in slip (wet clay) and glaze. The “naked” part comes from the slip separating from the pot in the post firing reduction. These pieces are completely individual. I will be glad to make you a piece similar to what you see in the picture but the firing and reduction create the smoke pattern. The lovely vase is sealed on the outside with wax; the inside of the piece is unglazed and the work is decorative only. CLICK FOR WHOLESALE PRICE.
